Volunteer Citizen Science Training

Participants will develop expertise in species identification, biodiversity monitoring, and digital recording via the iNaturalist app, and your contributions will support evidence-based decision-making for habitat management, directly increasing the value of these green spaces.

Please make sure you have downloaded the iNaturalist app to your phones ahead of your training, link can be found on our website: iNaturalist app and whilst it is possible to use the app without data, it is easier to upload the photos as you go.

The sessions are suitable for those aged 10+ as long as they are accompanied by an adult who is also booked onto the course and will be participating fully. (You will need to be 18+ to access the iNaturalist app).
