About this event

Join Midlothian Ranger Service and learn how to use Austrian scythes to cut a patch of wildflower meadow on the Tyne Valley grasslands at Vogrie. We cut and lift areas of meadow each year, to improve the diversity of the mosaic of habitats in the park. You'll be helping to cut and lift the area and will learn what species make a good meadow as well as how to create and manage this vital habitat for conservation purposes.

All help is very much apprecited.

This is for adults only, over 18.

We provide all tools and gloves.

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks.

Wear old cothes and outdoor footwear.
