Event description

Come along to St Andrew's Catholic Church to find out about volunteering at the Craigsfarm Community Hub.

Join us at one of our information day sessions for the chance to:

  • Meet some of our team as well as other people who are thinking about volunteering.

  • Find out about the volunteering opportunities available including different roles and training.

  • Talk about what you'd like to give and gain from lending a hand.

  • Find out about how to become a registered volunteer and apply.

  • We are really hoping to take small groups on a tour of the new Craigsfarm Community Hub, however we can't guarantee this just yet - if we can't do this, we will have some up to date photos to show you.

Who can volunteer?

We have had support from many people over the years, in both volunteering roles, and in more informal ways. From spreading the word, to fundraising, to helping to run the children’s cinema club. Each of our volunteers brings with them different ideas and skills, and we try to match up our volunteers to the roles they’ll most enjoy.

Most volunteers say that they get back far more than they give. Perhaps you’d like to meet new people, gain new skills, take on a challenge or build your confidence – volunteering can help you do this. The two sessions are the same: one at 11am and 1pm, so please just choose the session that suits you best.

If you would like to speak to someone about the event please call us on 07808 648303.
