VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT ADVICE SURGERY
12 October 2016
Free confidential Volunteering Advice Surgeries are being offered by Community Impact Bucks to voluntary and community groups in Buckinghamshire who support older and vulnerable people to remain independent.
A 45 minute, one on one session can be reserved with the sustainability team to discuss volunteering requirements for your group.
This could be about: volunteering policies, volunteer recruitment and retention, managing volunteers, induction and training, volunteers with expert skills, or legal issues involved working with volunteers.
We can offer an unbiased initial assessment and can signpost you to other sources of expertise.
N.B. With only 6 appointment slots, demand for tickets will be high and sell quickly. We do expect people to honour their appointments, or to give us adequate notice should a group be unable to attend. We operate a reserve list and can usually offer cancelled appointments to someone else with advance notice.
With the service in such demand, it is our policy to allow groups one appointment per year, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Failure to attend your appointment without giving us notice means that you will not be eligible to attend another Advice Surgery for a 12 month period.
