Volunteer Management Online Training

This course aims to enable those who are responsible for working with or managing volunteers to understand all aspects of best practice and current legislation. By the end of the course participants will be able to demonstrate:

• Understanding of why people volunteer and their motivations for this
• Current legislation that supports volunteering
• Understanding of the benefits volunteers offer to an organisation as well as the difficulties that can arise as a consequence

Participants will also have an opportunity to reflect upon their home organisations use of volunteers and identify any priority actions.
