Description

Join us to celebrate International Volunteer Managers' Day!

Although IVM day itself is 5 November, this is a Sunday, so we thought you would prefer to meet on a week day (!). However, look out for our special edition of our Volunteer Managers' bulletin on the day itself. The organisers of this important day have a theme 'Be The Voice!' which you can read more about here http://volunteermanagersday.org/

In our last bulletin, we asked you to tell us what topic you would like covered at this Forum and the top answer was... Legal Issues in Managing Volunteers. Thanks to everyone who took our survey to give us your views on this and content for the special bulletin, and your answers will be used in the future as well as on 01 November.

To make sure that we capture your views on what particular aspects of Legal Issues you may be interested in, we'll be contacting everyone who books for the forum in advance, to ask this question. We will also have a speaker on the subject and time for networking with your fellow Volunteer Managers. We also plan to promote IVM and the Forum via local media so look out for this - or at least keep you fingers crossed that they take this up. We will have is our popular bacon or hot egg roll - remember to let us know if you can't come as no cancellation or less than 48 hours cancellation will result in a £10 fee sent to your organisation. Book your place at this free event now!

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We have extensive, free private parking at the far end of the building (look for the large sign on the fence at the entrance to the car park) including designated disabled parking spaces (contact us to find out more). If you wish to share a lift, let us know and we will try our best to put you in touch with someone who can help.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Some time ago, delegates asked us to provide a list of the names and e-mail addresses of those who were attending, to maximise networking opportunities. Therefore, it's really important that we have an accurate list of who is attending and we would prefer you to cancel the booking for the person who cannot attend (you can do this on eventbrite) and book a new ticket for the person who is coming in their place.
