About this Event
The Volunteer Passport Scheme initiative, offers a series of 4 short training modules exploring the key areas all volunteers need to successfully volunteer with clients.
VP Boundaries and Confidentiality
Boundaries set the limits of what is and is not acceptable and helps to protect ourselves and service users by clarifying what types of behaviour and language will or will not be tolerated. It helps us to look and sound professional.
Confidentiality relates specifically to the protection of private information acquired through volunteering by staff and involves protecting and actively promoting the dignity and privacy of service users.

This training is free to join but there is a cost to us to deliver it, so please if you sign up and can't make it please let us know so we can offer your place to someone who can attend. For all of our training we need a minimum of 10 participants and may need to cancel if we have insufficient interest. The training is participatory so please only attend if you are able to join in as we learn best from each other.
