Event description
Community Impact Bucks are offering a FREE training webinar addressing volunteering management and recruitment.

About this Event

Are you new to volunteer management, or want to refresh your approach? Are you concerned about the impact of coronavirus on your volunteering programme? This FREE online training from our partner Community Impact Bucks will address the following areas, offering practical advice and guidance about best practice against the backdrop of COVID-19:

  • Steps to take before recruiting volunteers
  • COVID-19: implications for volunteers
  • What a good recruitment process looks like
  • Designing compelling volunteer opportunities
  • Onboarding: what works
  • Safeguarding volunteers and service users
  • Tips for volunteer well-being
  • Key skills for successful volunteer management.

With the opportunity to ask questions during the session, reflect on the situation in your own organisation and chat with peers, you will come away with increased confidence to enhance your volunteering programme, and additional training resources to help both you and your volunteers.

Who should attend?

Anyone responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers (paid/unpaid), particularly those who are new to the role.
