A five part series aimed to help our grassroots football family recruit new volunteers into their club.
About this event
*Please note this workshop is only for Clubs affiliated to the Football Association of Wales (FAW). Clubs must commit to all five workshops and must also ensure that each event is attended by a minimum of two individuals from the club, where possible, this should be the volunteer coordinator and secretary.*
This five part workshop series which breaks down how to recruit new volunteers.
Workshop 1 - 26/04/2022 - Who do you need to lend a hand?
Guidance on how to assess who you need to join your team to help fulfil gaps or add new volunteers to support growth and future ambitions.
Workshop 2 - 03/05/2022 - What will the role consist of?
Support on how to compile a list of responsibilities for the new or existing role. How to make the role more manageable and understanding ways in which to break up the role into smaller more manageable chunks.
Workshop 3 - 10/05/2022 – How to plan in appropriate support?
Advice on how to implement a great support plan to aid your new volunteers in their new role.
Workshop 4 – 24/05/2022 – When and where to promote
Discussions on ways in which to share your new or existing roles with your members as well as those within your wider, local community.
Workshop 5 – 14/06/2022 – Review and Reflect
An opportunity to reflect on your own journey and share experiences, challenges and successes with clubs and volunteers.
Aims
• Support clubs in recruiting new volunteers to full current and future roles.
• Provide a detailed overview of how best to recruit volunteers and support new individuals at their club
• Share and gain best practices from other liked minded clubs & volunteers
