Part of the Mayor of London's Big Weekend!

Join us at Lyttelton Playing Fields, Barnet for a powerful day of movement, sisterhood, and celebration as we host the BeLifted 5K Fun Run – a joyful event empowering women and girls through fitness and community.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the day to life!
Your role will include:

  • Motivating and cheering on runners 💜
  • Help collect donations
  • Keeping an eye out for anyone needing support or a pit stop
  • Assisting elderly or less mobile participants
  • Directing people to portable loos and key areas
  • Being a friendly guide and helping with set-up and clear-up

All volunteers will receive:
✔️ A FREE t-shirt, flask or hoodie
✔️ FREE breakfast, lunch, and bottles of water
✔️ The joy of being part of something meaningful and uplifting

Once registered, a next of kin and healthcare questionnaire will be emailed to you to complete.

Frequently asked questions

Can runners race with their dogs?

Yes, dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a short lead at all times.

?️ Will I get breakfast or lunch?

Yes! All volunteers will receive a free breakfast and lunch, plus bottled water throughout the day. Once you register, we’ll send you a form to collect any dietary requirements.

?? Can I bring my children?

Yes, you can — as long as your children are accompanied by another responsible adult who can look after them. If they’re 16 or over and want to get involved, they’re very welcome to volunteer alongside you!

? Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a short lead and make sure they're supervised at all times.

? What are volunteers expected to do?

Volunteers will: Support and motivate runners around the course Help with set-up and clean-up Direct runners to healthcare staff if they’re unwell Guide people to portaloos and key areas Be a friendly, encouraging presence throughout the day!

❤️ What if I feel unwell on the day while on site?

We’ll have healthcare professionals on-site, and all volunteers will be asked to submit next of kin details before the event for safety.

? What time will it finish?

The event ends at 12:00pm, but we’d love for some volunteers to stay until 12:30pm to help with the clear-up.
