Event Details

We would like to invite you to our Volunteer Visitor Support Group. These groups are an informal chance to meet with other befrienders and staff.

This will be a chance for us all to get together and

  • reflect on how your matches are progressing,
  • let us know if you are encountering and problems
  • feedback on the scheme overall

There will be opportunity to report on what we have achieved, share good stories but most importantly improve what we do and the service we provide.

This meeting is open to all current volunteer visitors from Arnold Lodge, Wells Road Centre and Wathwood Hospital and those waiting to be trained or matched.

We look forward to meeting you again soon.

Involvement, Experience & Volunteering at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Nottinghamshire Healthcare is positive about providing integrated healthcare services, including mental health, intellectual disability and physical health services.

Everyone at the Trust, from our Board members to our ward staff, is committed to making sure that we care for people as best we can.

It’s important that we listen to their views and experiences and that we involve them in decisions about both their own care, and the work of the Trust.

We have a dedicated Involvement, Experience and Volunteering team, who work with our service users, carers and members to:

  • review and publish all the feedback we receive on our Your Feedback Matters website
  • support our staff to collect and respond to people’s feedback, and to improve their services as a result
  • run our two Involvement Centres and volunteering service to recruit, train and support volunteers to play an important role in our services
  • help service users, carers, families, volunteers, members and the public contribute to how we change, plan and review our services
