Volunteer Conservation Days
Join us at this rural haven for wildlife with species-rich wildflower meadows, woodland and areas of natural regeneration near Woodbridge, Suffolk. These volunteer work parties are a great way to meet people with a shared interest in the natural environment while helping to conserve and enhance over 100 acres of nature reserve.
Volunteer activities vary throughout the year and may include coppicing or scrub maintenance in the winter, nature trail and habitat pile maintenance and general nature reserve projects at other times. Hand tools are often used (bowsaws and loppers).
BOOKING A PLACE: Groups are small so please book a place via Eventbrite or email at info@sinfieldtrust.org.uk - if you book a place and are unable to come, please let us know so we can offer your place to someone else.
Parking & Meeting Point: Parking is at the Sinfield Trust car park (veer left on driveway to stackyard) at White House Farm, Hasketon, IP13 6JP. Follow signs to The Old Cowshed/Main Barn along the track.
Clothing: We’re out in all weathers so please wear suitable clothing so you can keep comfortable during the day. We recommend wearing welly boots in the autumn/winter, or stout footwear in spring/summer.
Food: Bring a packed lunch and water. We’ll provide tea/coffee and biscuits.
You are welcome to take part for as much or as little of the work party time as you like.
Please let us know if you are coming so that we can provide enough tools and we will contact you if plans change.
Nature Reserve Warden: Matt Cook
