Volunteering and Heritage Activity Workshop
This event is a one day workshop aimed at churches planning significant development projects, and wishing to engage volunteers effectively in the process.
The morning session will focus on volunteer recruitment, training and management followed by a session on the use of social media (linked to project promotion & volunteer recruitment). The afternoon session will focus on heritage activities:
Why should you attend this event?
Churches will learn about different methods to attract volunteer support.The day will help to give the necessary tools and confidence to recruit new volunteers and promote your project. It will also help to share best practice across particiapting churches. It will include 'take away' templates for Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Management Plans.
This event is offered as part of the Inspired Futures Project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Priority will be given to bookings from the 18 Project churches but bookings from other churches will also be welcomed.
Refreshments and sandwich lunch provided.
