Join us at Dale coppice to tackle some of the holly trying to takeover in the woodland. We will cut trees down to ground level and treat the stumps to try to limit regrowth.

What you need to know
- All activities are subject to change at short notice due to inclement weather or other circumstances.
- Our minibus can take you to the site, picking up at 9.45am from Coalbrookdale Community Centre on Darby Road. Or meeting on site. (Volunteers are informed each week if we will be using the minibus)
- If you will be travelling in the minibus, please inform us in advance to ensure there are enough seats.
- Bring sturdy footwear (preferably steel toe-capped boots for practical activities), outdoor clothing, waterproofs, refreshments and packed lunch.
- We provide tea/coffee and biscuits in the morning break.
- We will provide tools, training, gloves, hard hats, goggles, hand sanitizer.
- Please use only the trust’s tools for insurance purposes.
- 16/17-year-olds will be asked to provide parental permission before taking part.
- Please check your Tetanus injections are up-to-date.
