We are excited to welcome volunteers to join our teams at Brookwood Military Cemetery to support us in the maintenance and management of the horticulture across the site. Activities may include weeding around our borders and memorials, plant maintenance, collecting leaves and other similar tasks around the 37 acres of the site.
We are able to accommodate up to 30 volunteers on each of the following dates, with more dates planned for 2025. These days will run between 10am and 3pm, with a break for lunch and an optional tour of the site at the end of the day.
The timings for the day typically are as follows, but are subject to change:
10:00-10:15 - Volunteers arrive and park
10:15-10:30 - Volunteer briefing and introduction
10:30-12:15 - Volunteering work
12:15-13:00 - Refreshment / Lunch break
13:00-14:30 - Volunteering work
14:30-15:15 - Optional Tour
15:20-15:30 - Thank you
