Gwirfoddoli yn ystod y pandemig – cael y darlun llawn

Nod y digwyddiad hwn yw cyflwyno prif ganfyddiadau gwaith ymchwil sydd wedi’i wneud ar wirfoddoli yn ystod y pandemig ac i roi’r cyfle i edrych ar wersi o’n profiadau cyfunol, a fydd yn hysbysu ac yn dylanwadu ar agenda'r polisi cenedlaethol.

Hwn yw’r cyntaf o ddau ddigwyddiad (cynhelir yr ail, ‘Gwirfoddoli y tu hwnt i’r pandemig - dulliau cydweithredol’, ar 10 Mawrth). Mae’n dwyn ynghyd y timau ymchwil y tu ôl i bedair astudiaeth drylwyr ar wahanol agweddau ar wirfoddoli yn ystod y pandemig, i gyflwyno a thrafod eu canfyddiadau â chynulleidfa ehangach, gan gynnwys aelodau o Rwydwaith Gwirfoddoli Cymru, y Grŵp Arwain Gwirfoddoli Traws-sector, cynrychiolwyr o Lywodraeth Cymru a rhanddeiliaid o bob rhan o’r ecosystem wirfoddoli.

Bydd y sesiwn yn cael ei chadeirio gan Gretel Leeb, Cadeirydd y Grŵp Arwain Gwirfoddoli Traws-sector (VCSLG) sydd newydd ei sefydlu. Mae’r grŵp hwn, a fydd yn cael ei ‘lansio’ yn gyhoeddus yn ein digwyddiad, yn dwyn ynghyd arbenigwyr o’r sectorau gwirfoddol, cyhoeddus a phreifat, a’r dasg gyntaf y maen nhw wedi’i chael yw adolygu Polisi Gwirfoddoli Llywodraeth Cymru.

Yn dilyn y prif gyflwyniadau, bydd cyfranogwyr yn gallu cwrdd ag aelodau o’r timau ymchwil amrywiol ac aelodau o’r VCSLG, i drafod mewn grwpiau bach, cael cyfle i ofyn cwestiynau, myfyrio ar eu profiadau eu hunain ac i nodi’r prif wersi y mae angen i ni eu cofio o’r hyn yr ydym wedi’i ddysgu am wirfoddoli yn ystod y pandemig.

Trefnir y digwyddiad hwn gan CGGC a Llywodraeth Cymru a chaiff ei gefnogi gan Rwydwaith Gwirfoddoli Cymru.

Volunteering during the pandemic –getting the full picture

This event aims to present key findings from research that has been carried out on volunteering during the pandemic and to provide an opportunity to draw lessons from our collective experiences, which will inform and influence the national policy agenda.

It is the first of two events (the second, ‘Volunteering beyond the pandemic - collaborative approaches’, takes place on March 10th). It brings together the research teams behind four in-depth studies on different aspects of volunteering during the pandemic, to present and discuss their findings with a wider audience, including members of the Volunteering Wales Network, the Volunteering Cross-Sectoral Leadership Group, Welsh Government representatives and stakeholders from across the entire volunteering ecosystem.

The session will be chaired by Gretel Leeb, Chair of the newly formed Volunteering Cross-Sectoral Leadership Group (VCSLG). This group, which will be publicly ‘launched’ at our event, brings together experts from the voluntary, public and private sectors and has been tasked, in the first instance, with reviewing Welsh Government’s Volunteering Policy.

Following the main presentations, participants will be able to meet with members of the various research teams and members of the VCSLG, for discussion in small groups, with opportunity to ask questions, reflect on their own experiences and to identify the key lessons that we need to take forward from what we have learned about volunteering during the pandemic.

This event is organised by WCVA and Welsh Government and supported by the Wales Volunteering Network.
