Description

Mansions of the Future invites you to celebrate the launch of our new 2019 – 2020 Volunteering Programme on Thursday 26th September 2019, 5 - 7pm.

Mansions of the Future is recruiting a new cohort of volunteers to support the delivery of our ambitious 2019-2020 arts and cultural programme. With creative professional development at its core, our volunteer programme will be tailored to individual needs and all volunteers will have exclusive access to a free master class programme led by industry professionals.

During the launch, guests will have the opportunity to find out more about Mansions of the Future, our building, our arts programme and the role of volunteers in supporting the delivery of different aspects of our work. There will also be a talk led by Susuana Amoah, Programmes Executive at the social justice charity: Arts Emergency.

There is no set pathway to becoming a volunteer – everyone’s journey is different. You might be looking to meet new people, develop your skills and CV, or are simply interested in participating in something new.

Bi monthly master class opportunities will include a programme of talks, workshops, lunches and cultural day trips. These sessions will explore a breadth of topics relevant to Lincoln’s cultural infrastructure and the wider context in our local communities such as: Equality, Diversity & Disability; Wellbeing Awareness; Confidence, Conversation & Self-Presenting - plus much more!

Refreshments and screen printing of volunteer t-shirts from 17:00, introductions and welcome from 17:30.

Free and open to all. Please contact info@mansionsofthefuture.org or 07494 344352 with any inquiries.
