All about our new "Osteoporosis Connect" Project

Volunteers are at the heart of our charity, and during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate and recognise the amazing achievements of our volunteers.

Volunteers' Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering in their communities.

Volunteers’ Week is supported by small grassroots organisations as well as larger, household-name charities. Volunteers’ Week 2023 theme this year is celebrate and inspire.

Building on the success of previous years “coffee and connect sessions” during Volunteers’ Week - this year, based on feedback from our volunteers and this year’s theme– we have decided to celebrate our volunteers with a series of “celebrating our volunteers” sessions.

Each “celebrating our volunteers” session will include:

• An update from a ROS member of staff on an area of our work.

• An opportunity to celebrate the role volunteers have played in our progress.

• Provide an opportunity to meet our volunteers and encourage networking with the second half of the session being a “Natter and Network.”

Volunteers can join all sessions that are of interest to them. The sessions will be delivered online (via MS Teams).
