Vote 100: Celebrating Women Composers marks the centenary of women gaining the vote through democracy in action. With a specially commissioned new work - Lead On - by Lucy Pankhurst, a relative of leading suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, and music by a diverse range of women composers we are delighted that Caroline Lucas MP will participate as a key speaker.

Soprano Sarah Gabriel and special guests including vocal/instrumental group HEARD, guitarist Brian Ashworth, clarinettist Steve Dummer, flautist Rebecca Griffiths and pianists Christina McMaster, Evgenia Startseva and Yuri Paterson-Olenich plus multi-pianist ensemble the Zongora Piano Group and the Appel Trio.

Featured composers include Cécile Chaminade, Rebecca Clarke, Avril Coleridge-Taylor**, Lilian Elkington, Shena Fraser, Augusta Holmès, Alma Schindler-Mahler, Morfydd Owen, Clara Schumann, Ethel Smyth and living composers Litha Efthymiou, Cécile Marti, Cecilia McDowall and composer laureate Judith Weir.
