About this event

The perfect gift! ... from New Home owners to Christmas & Birthdays presents, or just a 'Well Done'! Vouchers can be made out to a specific name, and used in full or in part (to cover 1 workshop or several workshops) and last for one year from the date of purchase.

We can make bespoke, single or block Vouchers:

  • Single workshop Voucher - click to add one in the Check-Out box.
  • Block Vouchers - in the Check-Out box, click for the number of workshops you want on one Voucher, OR for how many single workshop Vouchers you require.
  • Bespoke Vouchers - if you would like a specific amount on a Voucher (e.g. if it's below the price of 1 workshop, or not multiples of the price of 1 workshop), that's totally fine! Email us at info@JaneHDee.com

For all Vouchers, please email us at info@JaneHDee.com so that we can tailor your Voucher for your recipient!

Once you have given the Voucher to the recipient, they should view the courses available and email us directly to book, info@JaneHDee.com.

Frequently asked questions

What's Included?

A personalised Voucher for you to print; Sewing Tutor portfolio pages for you to mount your skills samples on and to take notes on; all equipment and tools or you can bring your own. We also provide you with the fabric and haberdashery you need for the skill samples you make.

What should I bring?

If you need to bring additional fabric or haberdashery is dependant on which workshop/s you would like to use your Voucher for. Details for each workshop would be sent after booking.

What is the exact address?

We are based on Marine Parade in Kirn, Dunoon, PA23 8HH. After registration, we will email you the exact address and any other information you may need. Please note we are on the second floor and there is no lift.

Do you have courses I can choose from?

Yes! And we'd love you to join any of our workshops! Whether you’re a seasoned sewer or just starting out, we have loads of great skills and project based workshops happening now and coming up. So keep an eye on our website, janehdee.com/sewing-tutor, & the Eventbrite listings.

What if I can't make one of those dates?

With a Voucher you can choose a date which works best for you. We recommend you please check dates before booking, as once booked it is unlikely we can change it, unless people are waitlisted.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately you cannot get a refund for a Voucher, but it can be used for any workshop/s or course in it's entirety, or in parts and be added to. If you're not sure which workshop, to do, you could try a 1-2-1 workshop & make your project the focus!

Sewing Tutor Workshops offer hands-on skills and project based learning. The Skills-based workshops offer courses which focus on making samples of a wide range of skills, which you mount on your Sewing Tutor pages, and can refer back to, to help you in further projects (example Code L1S1). In the Project-based workshops students make skills-samples specific to the item they will be making, for example a skirt (example code L2P5). As with the skill-based learning, students mount these skill-samples in their Sewing Tutor pages, which becomes their own Sewing Tutor how-to reference guide.
