Nick will be talking about VR app production for Google Cardboard in Unity with a focus on a case study produced for an internal marketing department at Jameson Whisky. The project involved a collaboration with catalyst VR and MBM and was a 360-degree video shoot with interactive elements.

Robin Scott, Make Real @makereal3d
The team at Make Real are pioneers, explorers and innovators. Our purpose is to inspire, immerse and enable people to grow – at work, at home and on the move. We believe that immersive digital products are transforming the way we work, play and learn for good. Robin will talk about our latest VR product, releasing that very evening (!) Loco Dojo for Oculus Rift + Touch, and how it fits into our overall studio master plan and approach to pushing boundaries.
Alastair Goode, Gorilla In The Room @gorilla_room
Gorilla In The Room apply cognitive science to virtual, mixed and augmented reality in order to unlock new insights and behaviours. Alistair will be sharing his insights: For years market research has relied on asking people direct questions to make predictions for business, but we know what people say is not what they do. Can VR the solve this problem?
Iona Scott @planktonworld
Planktonworld recreates a microscopic submarine cosmos on a human scale. Artist Iona Scott will be running demonstrations of her stereoscopic 3D animation 'Swimming with phytoplankton in 3D', (resident at Kew since 2004) and 'Shrunk' for GearVR.
Make Real @makereal3d
Robin and Pete from Make Real will be demoing a competitive two player one-on-one version of Loco Dojo on Oculus Rift + Touch to bring an element of madcap mayhem to the proceedings!
