Event description

Description

It takes a village to raise a child (VRAC) - tackling the numerous and complex challenges vulnerable young people face with mental health issues and fulfilling their potential.

VRAC will fund front line support to young people not doing so well at school in two pilot areas. The project will help build an integrated response to young people’s needs, including a programme of activities outside of schools.

You are invited to join us…

This invite is for those with professional expertise, young people and parents with lived experience of mental health and wellbeing issues and those struggling to stay in school. Also invited are interested lay people from community groups and organisations working in Hailsham. This is an initial meeting to establish a stakeholder group to support the VRAC project in Hailsham.

At this meeting we will:

Reflect the issues and needs of young people in Newhaven

Agree a structure and common vision for the stakeholder group

Start the pilot co-design process
