Transmoderna’s THE FLIP is the latest project in the acclaimed series of the artist studio’s immersive experiences.
THE FLIP’s story follows Mira, a sensitive protagonist, emblematic of a generation defined by anxiety. Through her eyes the audience explores a present similar to ours where humanity’s fragile systems–ecological and technological–collide amidst planetary disarray.
THE FLIP represents the next evolution in Transmoderna’s signature cross-media architecture. The data-reactive audio-visual worlds unfold in unpredictable narrative sequences. Inspired by quantum jumps, a custom-made game mechanism ensures that each viewing is unique.
THE FLIP features original soundscapes and tracks by Dixon, Jimi Jules, and Trikk.
TRANSMODERNA is a Berlin-based artist studio merging digital art with electronic music. Its works and audio-visual shows have previously been shown at Fondation Beyeler Basel, Centre Pompidou Metz, Julia Stoschek Foundation, Printworks London, and Brooklyn Mirage New York.
