Wac Talks Diversity...

"Hi. I’m Daisy-May. From my name, you’d guess that I’m female, but not necessarily that I’m nearly 18, born and bred in Camden, identify as white British, am heterosexual and don’t have a disability. Neither would you know that I still share a bunk bed with my little sister *cringe*. I’m currently studying the 3-year full time Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre at Wac Arts and see myself on stage in the West End, doing what I love, but I have some questions on Diversity that I would like to share please come along to my talk to speak and listen.

PS – it doesn’t matter what you look like, sound like, or wear, or whether you sit in a chair, stand up, lay on the floor or arrive in a spaceship. You’re all welcome!"

Location: Council Chamber

About the Wac Arts Weekender 2018: Beyond Time

A festival of arts and events inspired by, and created with, young people aged 5-30.

Wac Arts' annual festival returns for a second year, with even more performances, discussions, workshops and networking opportunities spread across five days, in every nook and cranny of our building. Join us and our partners as we time travel between reality and fiction, explore the issues of here and now and leap into re-imagining the future.

Money raised from the events will go towards supporting Wac Arts’ programmes.
