This series of Saturday seminars offer a continuing professional development opportunity for qualified Arts Psychotherapists to deepen theoretical understanding and approaches to practice through topic-led discussion and exploration.

Each session will involve guided reading, small group discussion and space for reflective art-making related to participants’ clinical work. This will provide a space to consider relevant topics from a psychodynamic perspective and enable participants to further their skills and understanding of their clinical wok including development towards research and publication.

The aim of the course is you to develop:

In-depth understanding of art psychotherapy clinical material
The use of art-making to reflect on relevant topics and clinical issues
Awareness of current debates, art psychotherapy literature and issues related to clinical practice
Awareness of research processes towards future projects and writing for publication
