This unique event, brought to you by White Rose Funerals, will bring together leaders in bereavement services such as Chief Coroners and Welsh Government bereavement leads with community organisations such as Age Connect, the Welsh Council for Deaf People, 2Wish and the Sports Chaplaincy service. Together we will hear keynotes and participate in a range of interacitve workshops to learn more together about supporting the mental heatlth and wellbeing of all those who hve been impacted by bereavementand and grief and of those working in bereavement support themselves.

How much is the conference ticket?

This is a non profit event. Entry is therefore free and this includes refreshments and drinks through the day. We do however, ask for a donation of £10+ at your discretion which will go straight to the charities taking part on the day.

I would like to make contact with one of the key speakers. Will I have the opportunity?

There is an option to purchase a VIP ticket at £30 which will entitle you to a 'front row seat' in the Stadium as well as the chance to speak 1:1 to the speaker of your choice and to be given key contacts to enhance your own business.

I work for the NHS. How relevant will the event be to healthcare professionals

As well as a focus on bereavement support in different locations and suicide prevention, there will be a workshop led by the head of Cancer Research Cymru

Does it matter if I work for an independent funeral home?

The conference is organised by White Rose Funerals, an independent service. We are working hard to bring all funeral directors together to improve bereavement services for all

Will I learn more about suicide awareness and prevention to help young people?

Yes, there is thread running through the conference based raising awareness of protecting the mental health of young people in schools, sports and prisons order to raise awareness of the threat of suicide and to offer approaches in suicide prevention

I am a church leader - will the conference be appropriate for me?

The conference will include representation from multi faith organisations and delegates from different faith backgrounds are invited in order to contribute to the important discussion around bereavement support

I run a charity and would like to share leaflet etc Will that be ok?

Any organisation participating in the conference can purchase stall space for £100 and thus can display any visuals or materials to share with the delegates

The Wales Bereavement and Wellbeing Conference on November 20th in Cardiff City Stadium will bring multi stakeholders together to focus on the important issue of providing the very best support for all those impacted by bereavement and grief. With keynote presentations, community led workshops, networking, panel discussions and complimentary food and drink, this event will be quite unique.

Anyone who works in the bereavement sector, in a related charity or has been affected by or supports those affected by loss is welcome to this event. If you work in education, the police force or prison service, this event will also be relevant for you.
