This walk is on an easy going trail winding through attractive open woodland to view the ruined houses and fields of the Bennachie colonists. The footing is generally good with some moderate slopes a few short steep parts. We will walk is on established paths with areas of tree roots to be negotiated at times.

Please dress appropriately for the weather - sturdy footwear is recommended. As we will be travelling on the minibus you may wish to bring a change of shoes and jumper/jacket for the journey home, especially if there is a risk of wet weather.

Tea/ coffee will be provided at the end of the walk at Chaple of Garioch but feel free to bring a water bottle and snacks if you wish.
