The Stockton and Darlington Railway opened in 1825, 200 years ago. From 1825 to 1852, a section of the line ran through the grounds of Preston Park (PPMG).

Join a walk with Dr Emma Watson, Team Leader at Tees Archaeology, as she tells you the story of the opening of this railway and of its impact on the world.
