The walk starts and ends at Bonner Gate, Victoria Park - Sewardstone Road.

How far is the walk?

The walk will take about 1.5 hours and cover approximately 3 miles/5km - so wear comfortable shoes.

Yes the route is fully accessible to all.

Are there many things to see?

As well as having lots of space and greenery, Victoria Park has places to visit of historical interest and some hidden gems.

Are there toilets available?

Yes there are many toilets within the park.

What if it's raining?

The walk will go ahead regardless of the weather so please come dressed for the weather and bring a brolly if needed.

Will I be able to get food or coffee nearby?

Yes there will be food and coffee plus other drinks available at the Sunday market. Victoria Park also has 3 permanent cafes - 2 on the east side and 1 on the west - all serving fab coffee, pastries etc.

Is Victoria Park busy on a Sunday?

Yes it can get busy on a Sunday with the market and food trucks in the East Park but that's what makes it buzzy and vibrant. The West Park is generally quieter. We will walk in both.

Can I bring children or pets?

Babies and small children in strollers are welcome at no extra cost. Well behaved dogs on leads also welcome.
