About this event

This guided walk will begin at 10am outside Town Mills pub and will last around 1.5 hours ending around 11:30am. We will visit points of interest across the ages of Andover's story from its Saxon beginnings to its future regeneration plans. We will complete the walk by enjoying a hot/cold drink of your choice at the Andover Museum & Museum of the Iron Age (included in the ticket price).

The walk will be led by Philip Richards, a qualified Blue Badge tourist guide for the South Central England region and a resident of Andover https://britainsbestguides.org/guides/philip-richards/

Tickets can be purchased in advance via this website.

The nearest parking to the start location, are the Town Mills car park and Chantry Centre multi-storey car park (charges may apply).

It is a relatively easy walk with no steep gradients, but with some uneven surfaces and steps. There will be the usual town traffic, and we will be crossing some roads so customers should take responsibility for their own safety. Please let the guide know of any accessibility issues and please wear appropriate clothing and footwear based on the weather on the day.
