How many walks are available?

There are five routes on offer: The  29 mile complete Trail circuit (challenging);  Two 15 mile half-Trail circuits (both moderate/demanding);  An 8 mile circular walk passing Porlock Weir and Culbone Churches  and a 7 mile circular walk to Lynch Chapel of Ease and Selworthy Church (both easy).

On which days are the walks available?

All walks are available on both Saturday and Sunday. All walkers will receive the Trail guidebook with full walk descriptions. Walkers can, therefore, choose to walk more of the routes after the event.

Can I bring my children?

Yes. The only restriction is that under-18s must be accompanied by a person who is over 18.

Can I take my own time to do the walk?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the walks are self-guided so you can choose which route to take and how long to take walking it. You will be provided with a full description of every route in a Trail guidebook, as well as .gpx files that you can download into an app on your phone.

At what time will the walks start?

Accepted Answer

On Saturday and Sunday, registration for the 29 mile walk will be open from 6:30 to 7:00am; registration for the two 15 mile walks from 7:00 to 11:00 am and for the 7 & 8 mile walks from 7:00am until 2pm.

Is there anywhere to stay?

Where can I park?

The Central Car Park is just around the corner from The Old School Centre where you will register for your walks.
