Event Information
About this event
Whether you're working for yourself, in between roles, or just craving some human contact, come and join us for a walk. There is absolutely no pressure to talk (you can bring your headphones, we won't be offended!). It's about being outdoors with others and moving our bodies.
Thursday 30th June
9.45am for a 10am start
Meet at Heysham Nature Reserve
What3Words Location: ///trumpet.curable.flaunting
Parking is available at the nature reserve. It is also accessible by bus.
We'll be walking around the Nature Reserve. Refreshments may be available at Ocean Edge Leisure Park nearby but we'd recommend you brought your own.
** FOOTWEAR - STURDY SHOES **The walk is mostly on a flat, even surface.
This event is a collaboration between Anna Bell and Matthew Brown, both freelancers working locally. We look forward to meeting you!
If you're up for leading a walk, let us know. All walks are held on the last Thursday of every month and will generally be across the Lancaster district including Morecambe, Heysham and Carnforth. We also have monthly co-work sessions in local coffee shops. The next one will be on Tuesday 12th July at Gallico Lounge in Lancaster if you'd like to join us.
There's no cost to come along to the walk but we have added the option for you to make a donation to the North Lancashire Counselling Service who provide free/low cost counselling to all those looking for support.
Please note that you join our organised walks at your own risk. It is important that you understand that whilst we have substantial local knowledge and are familiar with the routes we are not qualified mountain guides. You are responsible for your own safety and as part of an autonomous group, in which each member has a duty of care to each other.
If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home.
