About this event

Isn’t it lovely to get away from busy everyday life for a walk in fresh air and enjoy a chatter with other people to make new connections and friendships whilst we walk from one laughter location to another.

With this activity we also bring a fun element into it through a few Laughter Yoga exercises along our route. Laughter is great way to feel uplifted and we don’t do enough of it in our everyday life.

Who knew you don’t need humour, comedy and jokes to laugh? Children don’t – they do it through play; people with long friendships don’t – it comes naturally from just being with each other. It’s so good to laugh for the sheer joy of it and feel those ‘happy hormones’ flow around one’s body, banishing worries and stress.

With a few laughter ‘exercises’, some hand clapping and deep breathing, we shall experience a feeling that will leave a smile on our faces for the rest of the day.
