Event description
A great day out in the beautiful countryside with family and friends, walking in solidarity with parents and children in Kenya.

About this Event

A great day out …

Sign up today for our annual Bix Walk and walk in solidarity with women like Rose, who must walk long distances on dangerous journeys to collect water because the drought has impacted her village. Make it a family day out or set up a team and walk 5, 10 or 15 miles across beautiful country side.

Walk in Solidarity and Together we STOP the climate crisis

People living in poverty are on the front line of the climate crisis. All the money you raise will go to support our projects around the world to aid people in poverty. People like Rose, a 67-year-old grandmother, living in Kitui, Easter Kenya, where they are adapting to life in severe conditions caused by the drought, and this is her climate crisis.

Rose says, ‘When I was a young girl, the rainfall we received was enough, and there was plenty of food. Because of climate change and drought, I worry a lot about food. I pray to God that the rain will fall.’

This Christian Aid Week, together, we can help a community build a water dam, providing the water Rose needs to live.
