Rodney will lead this moderate 8 mile walk from the picturesque Moorland village of Butterton, visiting Wetton Mill, Ecton Hill and more!

Rodney will lead this great moderate walk of 8miles or so from Butterton church walk through the picturesque village & follow the Hoo down the valley to Wetton Mill (toilets) then passing Dale farm climb up skirting Sugar Loaf to Broad Ecton & Ecton trig point. Take a gentle-ish descent and skirt the hill to the copper topped Foley & cross Dale bridge & climb to the restored Littler’s Barn with the sight of Butterton church to guide us we pass south of Warslow & cross the valley of Warslow Brook before crossing meadows back to Butterton village, and a chance to rehydrate at the Black Lion.
