Walk the Past

Take a step back in time on a heritage walk around the village of Lybster. Histories of Pictish stones, emigration, bankruptcy and graves are all waiting to be discovered. We will be joined by a local archivist to help us unravel the stories hidden in today’s buildings. Over 18s only and please no dogs. This is a 4.5 km walk on pavement and one short section on the road. Please park on the harbour quayside and meet at Waterlines Visitor Centre.

We make no charge for this event as it has been kindly funded by Waterlines visitor Centre as part of the Heritage Skills Programme with support from SSE Halsary Fund and the North Highland Initiative.
