Event description
Join us for an urban exploration along the course of Salmons Brook in Enfield, north London!

About this Event

We will follow the more accessible parts of Salmon’s Brook and some of its tributaries from near its source to its confluence with Pymmes Brook within the site of the Meridian Water development.

What you will need to bring:

We will be using buses to avoid hidden sections so bring a bus pass or other means of paying. Both road and (potentially muddy) footpath walking involved, with some fairly gentle ascents and descents, so wear suitable clothing and comfortable footwear. Also bring a packed lunch and drinking water. Total walking distance: 16km (10 miles), total ascent: 100m (330ft)

Please be aware that this isn’t a guided walk; it’s not insured, so you join at your own risk.

Because we will be using small buses there is a limited number of places on this walk so register soon to secure your place!

Meet on Saturday 2 March at 10am, Bus stop at the junction of Waggon Road and Cockfosters Road, Hadley Wood (Bus 298 from Arnos Grove, Southgate, or Cockfosters tube stations). Estimated finish time 4pm at Edmonton IKEA (buses to Edmonton Green, Palmers Green or Tottenham Hale)
