New route for 2025!
Join Mike Evans for a relaxed circular social hike from Tonbridge Old Fire Station to Penshurst where we will stop for a picnic lunch (please bring your own lunch).
We will meet at Tonbridge Old Fire Station at 09:30 for a coffee (own expense) before setting off at approximately 10:00.
We will be walking approximately 12.5 miles/20 kilometres following a hilly route that will lead us through Haysden Country Park, along the Medway and then onto Penshurst. Our inbound route will lead us back into Tonbridge via Leigh and the Powdermills.
On our return to Tonbridge at approximately 5pm we will have the option of enjoying a drink (own expense) in one of the local pubs!
You are welcome to walk the outbound section of the route and take the bus back from Penshurst or the train from Leigh, should you prefer to walk a shorter route.
Your walk leader Mike, is an experienced walker who regularly walks long distance routes in and around Tonbridge.
All donations for this walk will be donated to Sustain food bank.
