Supported by CooperBurnett Solicitors, the Walk Tonbridge Festival mini- marathon invites walkers to challenge themselves whilst raising money for Sustain food bank, a Tonbridge based charity, tackling food poverty in our local area.
Starting at Tonbridge Old Fire Station, you will check in with our friendly team and be to given easy to follow directions for either a 5 mile circular route or a 3.6 mile out and back option which will be suitable for for buggys and mobility scooters.
If walking the 5 mile option you will follow a 5 mile route that takes in the beautiful countryside and surrounding Tonbridge. There is one stile en-route and some kissing gates which you will need to pass through.
There will be two checkpoints en-route. One at Haysden Country Park where you can use the nearby facilities, and a second where you can stop for tea at our charity cake stall.
If following the 3.6 mile option you will walk/wheel through Tonbridge Park and Haysden Country Park on a mixture of paved and unpaved paths.
Both mini-marathons will end at Tonbridge Old Fire Station where you will be awarded with a finishers medal and have the chance to put your feet up and enjoy a drink/cake with friends, family and your fellow walkers.
All profits from the ticket sales of this event will be donated to our charity partner Sustain, a Tonbridge food bank that provides emergency supplies to local people experiencing short term need.
