Description

From Wapping station, guide Anne-Marie Craven’s walk continues along the river, past the renowned Prospect of Whitby pub and the pumping station opposite. Shadwell Basin and the King Edward VII park leads gently back to the river and thence to Narrow Street, home of the Gang of Four, St Anne’s passage and Church, Newell Street, home of Charles Dickens’ godfather. Into Limehouse Basin and dock with the detour on our way to the DLR at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine.
