Take a walk around Bolderwood with a Forestry England Keeper to learn all about the deer, their management, and how it all fits in with the wider working Forest.

Take in the beauty of the Arboretum as you walk and look out for any other interesting plants or wildlife that might show up along the way.


Length / duration: 1.5miles, expected duration roughly 1.5 hours

Good to know: The walk will stick to gravel tracks that are moderately smooth, with a gravel surface and two short, but steep slopes. There are benches along the way, and the walk will involve frequent stops. There are toilet facilities at Bolderwood car park.


Dogs welcome: Well-behaved dogs allowed but must be on leads. Please bring poo bags and pick up after your pet.
