Formerly a chalk quarry, Peter’s Pit is now classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. On this guided walk you’ll explore its grasslands and ponds, and hear why it’s an ideal habitat for a variety of orchid species as well as great crested newts.


On occasion the weather, or other unexpected circumstances, may make it necessary to cancel or postpone an event. If this is the case you will be offered an alternative date or refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund tickets if the event takes place but you choose not to attend.
