An event for Bristol Neighbourhood Partnerships, Community Groups and anyone with an interest in the pedestrian environment in Bristol.
Bristol Walking Alliance is holding a Walkable Neighbourhoods Event, 10am-12.30pm (you are welcome to arrive at 9.30am for tea and coffee and the space is booked until 1pm for conversations to continue) on Saturday 15th October 2016 in Triodos Bank, Basement Space (Formerly OpenSpace) - Deanery Road, Bristol , BS1 5AS – The event is FREE but booking is required through Eventbrite.
This is a chance to consider ways to support and improve the pedestrian environment in Bristol. Guest speakers will share updates on walking projects that are taking place across the city and we will explore ways to make your neighbourhood more suited to pedestrians.
Speakers will include Asher Craig- Bristol City Council Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, Gordan Richardson-Bristol Disability Equality Forum, Patrick Williams- Imagine St Pauls and Easton Safer Streets, Ben Barker- Greater Bedminster Community Partnership, Roger Gimson- Bishopston, Cotham and Redland Neighbourhood Partnership, Tracy Edwards-Brown- Bristol City Council Neighbourhood Officer and more TBC.
The event is part of Bristol Healthy City Week 2016.
