Walking around old Chiswick Village

Meet outside the Black LIon, a pub very close to the river. We'll have a quick look towards Hammersmith from the nearby garden park and then walk west past buildings with plaques and windows and gardens to peer in to the old village and St Nicholas Church where we may be treated to some bell ringing. We'll finish at another pub where we might very well be tempted to enter. During the walk we'll hear about the history of the area and some of its more famous inhabitants.

Please remember, that it will cost £15 exact cash to join on the day, depending on availability.

Pictures are taken during our walks and some of the walk may be recorded so please let us know if you do not want to be included.

As it is a walking tour, please make sure you wear suitable footwear and clothing.

You take part in our events at your own risk although we take all the precautions to assess the route prior to the walks.
