Walking in the Light - Sunday Praise Conference 2017
Sat 29 April 2017, 09:30 – 16:30 BST
A christian day conference for men and women, hosted by the 'Sunday Praise' team from St Mary's Church, Bottesford, in North Leicestershire. 'Sunday Praise' is a registered fresh expression of contemporary church, which was established in 2012.
This year, to celebrate our fifth anniversary, we look forward to welcoming you to a day of spiritual nourishment as we seek out what it is to walk in the Light of the Lord in 2017. With guest speakers, Chris Webb and Nicky McGinty from the Leicestershire diocese, plus a host of local talent, the day will include contemporary band led worship, inspiring talks and breaking into smaller groups in the afternoon for our wonderful and diverse selection of seminars; we are sure there is something for everyone!
The conference is for Christians and those looking to know more about Jesus! All are warmly welcome! Any profit from the conference will be donated to the anti slavery charity; Hope for Justice.
'Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord.' Psalm 89:15

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a train station in Bottesford, but due to the infrequent trains, the village is best accessed by car. Disabled parking will be available in the churchyard. We ask that everyone else parks on the streets surrounding the church.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please just give us a call or drop us an email. We are super approachable and friendly!

What should I bring to the event?
You might want to bring your bible and a notebook to write down anything that has inspired you. Hot drinks and juices and cakes will be available at intervals throughout the day. You will need to bring your own lunch, although there is a deli and chip shop in the village itself.
There are toilets at the church.
We are committed to equal opportunities so please just ask if we can help in any way.
