Walking on Eggshells: Exploring Domestic Abuse Through Lived Experience

By Made by Mortals

Overview

Access audio stories, short films, and creative tools to support reflection, training, and organisational development.

Launching Monday 19th January 2026

What is in the resource package?

This resource package brings together a collection of our powerful creative, reflective, and practical materials exploring domestic abuse and so called honour-based violence and abuse.

Designed to help organisations respond in informed, compassionate, and meaningful ways this resource package offers immersive audio stories, films, music and lived experience insights.

You’ll meet Kerri, Sadiqa, and Elizabeth who are fictional characters co-created by community groups who have bravely shared their experiences. These characters offer a way to walk in someone else’s shoes and to understand the challenges, barriers, and possible solutions to supporting people affected by domestic abuse and violence.

These resources have already been embedded in in-house training in the UK and beyond, helping teams reflect, connect and create better pathways to safety and healing. Now they can help you place lived experience at the heart of your organisational learning and change too!

What will I receive when I sign up?

When you sign up here, you’ll receive access via email to the full package, including:
