Join me to explore traces of the East End's first industry as we follow the ups and downs of the weaving trade. Thrill to the Cutters' Riots and reflect on the hardships embodied in a 1797 soup kitchen.

We see weavers' cottages and silk merchants' shops. We see transformed Huguenot chapels and the resting place of the Boss of Bethnal Green!

Meet me outside Shoreditch High Street Overground Station.

The tour will take approximately two hours, and finishes close to Spitalfields Market, and near Liverpool Street Station.
