For centuries law and the judiciary have struggled to make the punishment fit the crime. But just how bloodthirsty was the legal process? And how effective was judicial punishment?
This tour visits sites in the City of London associated with the complex history of crime and punishment. It will challenge what you think of the nature of punishment, and question just how supreme the rule of law is!
Meet me outside Exit 1 (NOT the exit for the Cathedral) at St Paul's Underground Station.
The tour will take approximately two hours, and finishes near Barbican Underground Station.
