Walking Tour of the Quarr Abbey Ruins - 1.5 miles

Guided Tour of the Ruins at Quarr Abbey that can only be visited as part of a guided tour. See the oldest recorded gun ports in England, as well as a fascinating tree that is as one with the ruins

Length of walk: 1.5 miles (approx 2 hours)

Walk Cost: Voluntary donation requested (but not obligatory) through the Quarr Abbey Website: quarrabbey.org (go to support page) or contactless or cash donations on the day.

Type of Walk: Linear

Start Location: By the Green Gates to the Right of the Abbey Church.

Finish Location: The Abbey Ruins.

Pace of Walk: Gentle - This walk will follow a gentle pace.

Walk grade: Fairly Easy - Gentle, rolling landscape, walking on paths with good to average surfaces. Some walking on gentle inclines, some stiles or steps to be expected en route.

Mobility level: Suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance.
