About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Hiking

Land in this area came into the Tufnell family in the eighteenth century but it remained rural until Henry Tufnell began to develop it as housing in the mid-nineteenth century. The manor house, long-gone, used to stand on the site of today's Odeon Cinema and its gateposts can still be found on Tufnell Park Road today.

This walk follows the development of this now desirable suburb.

The walk takes about ninety minutes. It will start outside Tufnell Park Underground Station and finish by the Odeon Cinema on Holloway Road.

Please check travel arrangements on the day at Transport for London's Journey Planner site.
